Three ways to get a number in
Every item in your list accepts whichever input is fastest at that shelf. Staff pick one without being trained on it.
Scan the barcode
EAN, UPC, Code 128 and QR. The camera stays open between items, so a shelf of twelve is twelve scans, not twelve screens.
Tap to count
Unlabelled produce, house-made batches, glassware. Plus and minus buttons sized for cold hands and gloves.
Type a decimal
Half a bottle is 0.5, two-thirds of a sack is 0.66. Open items get counted honestly instead of rounded away.
Built for the walk-in, not the desk

Questions about scanning
Do I need a barcode scanner?
No. The phone camera reads retail barcodes directly. Bluetooth sled scanners work too if your team already owns them.
What about items with no barcode?
Tap them from your item list, or type a decimal for anything half-used. Most kitchens end up with a mix of both.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Counts are stored on the device and sync when you have signal again. Walk-ins and basements were the reason we built it this way.
Can two people count at once?
Yes. Every teammate with a user seat can count at the same time — each takes a storage area and the totals merge as they go, with no double counting. trakrGo includes one user; extra seats are $10 each, one-time.
