Features/Offline Mode

Count where there is no signal.

Walk-in coolers, basements, steel-racked warehouses — the places you count are the places phones lose signal. trakr keeps counting and syncs the moment you reconnect.

How offline counting works

1

Saved on the device first

Every scan, quantity, new product, pick and receipt is written to your phone the moment you enter it — not to a server you might not be able to reach.

2

Queued in order

Work you do offline is kept in the order you did it, so the history reads the same as if you had been online the whole time.

3

Sent when you reconnect

trakr watches for a connection and sends the queue on its own. There is no sync button to remember and no "try again later".

Works with no connection

Counting by storage, category or mixed. Adding and editing products. Picking against a list. Receiving a delivery. Tasks.

Needs a connection

The first sign-in on a device, syncing, photo uploads, and live views such as the low-stock card and the dashboard.

Nothing is lost

Counts save as you go. Leave the screen, lose signal, take a call, close the app — the count is still there when you come back.

Same app, same steps

There is no offline mode to switch on. trakr behaves the same either way; the only difference is when the data leaves the phone.

Offline questions

Does trakr really work offline?

Yes. Counting, adding products, picking and receiving all work with no connection. Everything is saved on the device and syncs automatically when you are back online.

What needs a connection?

Signing in for the first time, syncing, photo uploads, and a few live views such as the low-stock card.

Do I have to press sync?

No. trakr sends the queue on its own as soon as it sees a connection.

What if I close the app mid-count?

Counts save as you go, so the count is exactly where you left it when you open the app again.
